President Nechirvan Barzani Congratulates Yezidi Community on Jamayi Eid
Erbil, Kurdistan Region — President Nechirvan Barzani extended his warmest congratulations to all Yezidi citizens on the occasion of Jamayi Eid, wishing them a peaceful and joyous celebration.
“It is my genuine wish that they have a tranquil holiday, and that each year adds joy to their festivities and to all communities in Kurdistan,” President Barzani stated in his message.
He emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities of the Kurdistan Region, reaffirming the government’s commitment to protecting the rights of all groups.
“During this significant occasion, we reiterate our dedication to our Yezidi citizens, as well as to all other communities in Kurdistan, assuring them that we will persistently champion the protection of their rights, and that Kurdistan will remain a place of peaceful coexistence for all,” he affirmed.
Jamayi Eid is one of the most important religious festivals for the Yezidi community, bringing together families and communities in celebration and prayer.
