Kurdistan Prime Minister Receives Youth Delegation from European Diaspora
Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani received a youth delegation from the Kurdish diaspora in Europe on Sunday. The delegation consisted of 100 young Kurdish men and women, accompanied by a number of their foreign peers.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Barzani welcomed the delegation and praised the vital role played by the Kurdish diaspora in raising awareness of the Kurdish cause and supporting the legitimate rights of the people of Kurdistan.
He encouraged Kurdish youth to preserve their culture, language, and national identity, and to act as an active bridge between their host communities and their homeland. He further urged them to be positive role models abroad and to take advantage of opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister also outlined the ongoing reforms undertaken by the Kurdistan Regional Government in various sectors, aimed at building a solid economic infrastructure in the Region.
