Erbil, Kurdistan Region – On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, extended warm congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world, expressing hopes for peace, comfort, and happiness during the holy celebration.

In his message, President Barzani emphasized the values of sacrifice, compassion, and reconciliation, urging unity and cooperation to address challenges and uphold justice for all citizens. He stressed the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving issues, particularly concerning the delayed salaries of employees in the Kurdistan Region.

"The issue of employee salaries must be resolved through constructive dialogue, in accordance with the constitution, legal frameworks, and agreements that serve the public interest," Barzani stated. He reassured citizens that the Kurdistan Regional Government remains committed to defending their rights and pursuing all constitutional avenues to secure a solution.

The President expressed hope that Eid al-Adha would inspire rational discussions and shared responsibility among all parties, fostering a brighter future for Iraq’s diverse communities.
