President Barzani Welcomes Positive Developments in Turkey's Peace Process
Erbil, Kurdistan Region — President Masoud Barzani has expressed his satisfaction with recent progress in the peace process in Turkey, praising the constructive steps taken by the involved parties and voicing hope for a peaceful resolution to the long-standing conflict.
In an official statement issued on Monday, President Barzani noted that the concerned parties have shown positive positions and taken meaningful steps toward peace. He also acknowledged the recent congress held by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), during which a number of important decisions were announced.
“We hope that this process will lead to good results that serve the interests and well-being of the region and all parties involved,” Barzani said.
