Duhok National Park, which began construction late last year, is set to become the largest recreational and tourist complex in the province.

The project will feature several hotels, motels, water fountains, sports facilities and halls, parking areas for cars and bicycles, and children's playgrounds.

It is worth noting that work on this project officially began in early December 2024, with 5% of it completed so far. The total cost of the project is estimated at 135 billion dinars, and it is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028.

The total area of the recreational complex is 1,250,000 square meters, with 70% dedicated to green spaces and water features. The project is expected to contribute to the development of tourism and the environmental landscape in the province.
