ERBIL — A staff member of the United Nation’s office in Kirkuk was found dead in his bathroom.

Ghalib Ali, a police officer from Kirkuk, confirmed the report to BasNews and said the 45-year-old man was originally from Philippines and worked with the UN as a physician.

“He was killed with a knife, but other details are still under investigation,” Ali said.

Other sources said they suspected that Dr. Ronald Santos had committed suicided for reasons unknown to the investigation team yet.
