ERBIL — Kurdistan Region’s health ministry confirmed on Saturday the infection of 215 more people with COVID-19.

The ministry said in a statement that 2,281 people took the novel coronavirus test, and 215 came out positive.

With 114 cases, Sulaymaniyah again recorded the highest number of infections among the four provinces of Kurdistan Region.

The ministry also confirmed that 10 patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours due to the pandemic virus, and 140 had recovered within the same period.
