Kurdistan Coronavirus Cases Spike to 3,273
ERBIL - The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Kurdistan Region has now reached 3,273, the health ministry reported on Friday.

At least 228 other people had been diagnosed with coronavirus in the past 24 hours across the Kurdistan Region, the ministry confirmed.

In the meantime, five patients in Sulaimaniya and another in Halabja provinces lost their lives due to the novel virus, bringing the death toll to 88 since early March.

However, with 102 new recoveries recorded since yesterday, a total of 1,319 patients have so far been discharged from the hospital, according to the latest updates by the ministry.
