Kurdish officials confirm 23 new coronavirus cases in Sulaymaniyah and Halabja
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Region on Saturday, 23 more people have been diagnosed with the new COVID-19. They consist of fourteen men, eight women, and a young girl.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, 18 of them are residents of the city of Sulaymaniyah, one is from Darbandikhan district, one is from Penjwin, one is from Kalar, one is from Halabja province and another is from Baghdad.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the Kurdistan Region has now reached 605, of whom 409 have recovered and six have lost their lives.
