Syrian Kurds Praise KRG’s Medical Assistance to Cope with Coronavirus
Speaking to reporters, Manal Muhammad, the co-chair of the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration in al-Jazira region, pointed out that only two cases of COVID-19 have so far been confirmed in the region.
The board noted that "only" KRG has delivered medical assistance to the region.
Mohammed further explained that the two people who were found infected with the coronavirus "had come from outside Jazira region", calling on all sides to stop their bombardments on the region and help improve the health situation.
The Kurdistan Region has previously sent four mobile laboratories to help the coronavirus task force in Syrian Kurdistan.
