Coronavirus Forces Iraq to Suspend Domestic Flights
Reuters cited a statement by the authority as explaining that flights will be suspended from 17 March to 24 March.
Meanwhile, Dana Mohammed, a spokesperson for Sulaimaniya Airport, confirmed the report to BasNews and said that the new measures will be put into effect on Tuesday evening, at 6:00 pm (local time).
However, Erbil International Airport noted that it has no plans to temporarily close the airport, except the fact that special teams will check the temperatures of any passengers arriving from the coronavirus-hit countries.
