Another Case of Coronavirus Confirmed in Erbil
According to a statement by the ministry of health, a 64-year-old man from Koya district of Erbil province tested positive for coronavirus.
He had recently returned from neighboring Iran, the statement further explained, adding that a total of 953 people are still put in quarantine.
The new report brought the total number of people infected with the novel virus in the Kurdistan Region to 16, all of whom are in Erbil and Sulaimaniya provinces.
The ministry earlier the day announced that a 19-year-old woman had tested positive for the virus in Sulaimaniya province.
