The Prime Minister of Iraq's Kurdistan region Nechirvan Barzani on Saturday discussed with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ways of expanding cooperation in the economic field.

PM Barzani met Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan on the margin of the annual Atlantic Council Energy and Economic Summit that was held in Istanbul city and both sides discussed the cooperation between Kurdistan Region and Turkey especially in the power and economic fields.


Also two sides exchanged, opinions and views on the current political situation in the region and the latest developments and implications as well as the need to protect security and stability in the region and the current situation and the future of the political process in Iraq and the relations between Iraq and Turkey was another aspect of the meeting.
