Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has extended his congratulations and best wishes to the head of Iraq’s Council of Ministers, Ali Falah Al-Zaidi, and the newly formed government following its receipt of confidence from the Council of Representatives.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X, PM Barzani described the parliamentary vote of confidence as an important political step, expressing hope that it would mark the beginning of a new phase of security and stability across Iraq.

He further expressed optimism that the new government would contribute to resolving long-standing national issues, fully implementing the Iraqi constitution, and strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government in Baghdad.
