The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, announced that he participated in the evening session of the Iraqi Council of Representatives dedicated to granting confidence to the new Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers, Ali Falih Al-Zaidi, and his cabinet.

In a statement published on X, the President of the Kurdistan Region extended his congratulations and best wishes to the newly formed Iraqi government, expressing hope for its success in carrying out its national responsibilities and serving all Iraqis from different communities and backgrounds.

The President emphasized the importance of strengthening security, stability, development, and prosperity across Iraq, noting that the aspirations of citizens for better governance and public services should remain a central priority for the new administration.
