On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, the President of the Kurdistan Region met with Tom Barrack to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.

The meeting focused on relations between the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the United States. Discussions also addressed recent developments in Syria and the situation of the Kurdish population in the country, as well as broader developments across the Middle East.

Both sides reviewed the wider implications of ongoing conflicts in the region and their impact on security and stability. They highlighted that the war has had significant consequences for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, stressing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation to safeguard stability.

The Kurdistan Region President and Ambassador Barrack emphasized the urgent need for joint efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace and strengthening security across the region.

The meeting also covered a number of other matters of mutual interest.
