Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives Deputy Speaker of North Rhine-Westphalia Parliament
Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Berivan Aymaz, Deputy Speaker of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) Germany.
They stressed the importance of further developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and Germany across sectors.
Deputy Speaker Aymaz commended the Kurdistan Region’s effective role in safeguarding security and stability in the region, particularly its efforts to help de-escalate the recent conflict and tensions in Syria and to advocate for the rights of the Kurdish people and other components of the country.
