A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will travel to Baghdad today to implement the provisions of the Iraqi budget law and to receive Kurdistan's financial merits.

"A delegation led by Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), will travel to Baghdad," Bakhtiar Haji, Director General of Communications and Follow-up on behalf of the KRG, told Kurdistan 24 on Sunday.

"The purpose of the visit is to reaffirm the KRG's commitment to Iraq's 2021 budget law and to reiterate its readiness to implement all commitments to meet the KRG's financial needs," Bakhtiar Haji said.

"It has been decided that the delegation will meet with the relevant ministers," said the director general of communications and the follow-up of the Kurdistan regional government's representation in Baghdad.
