ERBIL - Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday received a French delegation in Erbil, headed by Françoise Dumas, President of the National Defense and Armed Forces Commission.

"Pleased to welcome French delegation headed by Françoise Dumas, President of the National Defense and Armed Forces Commission." PM Barzani said in a statement on his Facebook feed.

"We discussed recent developments in Iraq and the region and ways to cooperate on issues of shared concern. I reiterated our commitment to the historic and longstanding Kurdistan-France partnership." he added.

"We highlighted KRG’s reform agenda and progress and discussed more security cooperation to confront ISIS, Erbil-Baghdad relations, implementation of the Sinjar Agreement, and providing more assistance and vaccines for refugees and IDPs in the Kurdistan Region." he concluded.
