ERBIL — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani published a message to mark the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11, saying that his administration reaffirms its promise to empower girls to pursue their dreams.

“We are committed to ensuring every girl in Kurdistan has access to a quality education,” PM Barzani wrote on Twitter.

“On the International Day of the Girl [Child], we reaffirm our promise to empower girls to pursue their dreams,” he added.

The Kurdish leader emphasized that the future of Kurdistan will be more prosperous and certain when equal opportunities are given to everyone.
