NATO to Hold Urgent Meeting on Iraq
ERBIL — The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will hold an urgent meeting to discuss the crisis in the Middle East in the aftermath of the US killing of Iranian top general and Iraqi militia leader.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will chair the meeting of organization’s ambassadors on Monday.

It comes after NATO announced on Sunday that it will suspend its military trainings in Iraq for security risks.

Following NATO, the US-led Coalition battling the Islamic State (IS) has also suspended its mission and support for the Iraqi army.
