ERBIL - A Kurdish lawmaker in the Iraqi Parliament revealed on Thursday that a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will visit Baghdad in the near future.

MP Sherwan Mirza told BasNews that the delegates will head to Baghdad next week for talks on the issues of oil & gas, the budget bill for the year 2020, and Kurdistan Region's share from it.

He further pointed out that the visit had been postponed for several times due to the recent evolving situation in Iraq.

Erbil and Baghdad have been successful in improving their ties based on peaceful dialogue between the sides. They also have intensified their efforts to resolve the remaining disputes.
