ERBIL - Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani was received on Tuesday by Qatari Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani in Doha.

Barzani, who arrived in Qatar on Monday to attend the Munich Security Conference Core Group meeting, discussed the latest developments in the region with the Qatari premier.

The pair also shed light on the relations between Qatar, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, according to a statement by Barzani's office.

The two officials additionally stressed on further Qatari investments in the Kurdistan Region.

Exchanging views on the relations between Erbil and Baghdad was also on the agenda of the meeting.
