Two Iraqi Nationals Arrested in Turkey over Ties with IS
Anadolu Agency said in a report that two Iraqi men holding Dutch citizenships were arrested by the Turkish police in coordination with the intelligence body of MIT in the northwestern city of Bursa.
During the operation, two women, one with Dutch decent and the other with both Dutch and Moroccan citizenship, were also taken into custody over working with the two Iraqi men, the report explained.
According to the Turkish media, the four suspects had been involved in several Islamic State terrorist activities in Syria.
However, the detainees will not be deported to their countries, but will be brought to justice in Turkey.
