Erbil, Kurdistan Region – The Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is pleased to announce that over 465,000 beneficiaries on the KRG payroll will be paid their June salaries digitally through MyAccount.

The KRG’s financial inclusion program, which has seen significant progress since its launch in 2023, aims to register and pay over 1 million public sector beneficiaries.

To date, more than 900,000 public sector beneficiaries have registered for bank accounts under the MyAccount programme. The program has seen the deployment of more than 450 ATMs across the Kurdistan Region, ensuring 24-hour access to cash for citizens more generally.
