Kirkuk COVID-19 Infections Spike to 1,170
ERBIL - Kirkuk's Health Department confirmed on Monday evening that the total number of coronavirus cases has now risen to 1,170 in the disputed Kurdish province.

Speaking to BasNews, Saman Yaba, a spokesperson for the department, pointed out that at least 50 other people tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday.

Moreover, three other patients lost their lives, taking the death toll to 53, according to the spokesperson.

Out of the total number of infections, 393 patients have recovered from the novel virus while there are 724 active cases.
