Turkey Sends More Reinforcements to Syria
A Turkish convoy, including a armoured vehicles, trucks, as well as machineries, crossed into Syria through the border village of Kafr Lusin, heading towards the Turkish positions in the "de-escalation zone", the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
Since the new ceasefire agreement in March, the number of Turkish units in the "de-escalation zone" has now reached 4,265, the Britain-based monitoring group added.
Hundreds of Turkish soldier have also entered the region, the Observatory noted.
According to the latest updates by SOHR, more than 7,600 Turkish trucks and other military vehicles have entered Syria with over 11,000 Turkish soldiers since early February.
