No Commitment to Protect Syrian Kurds for "400" Years: Trump
Talking to reporters at the White House, Trump pointed out that the negotiated ceasefire in northeast of Syria seems to be holding despite some skirmishes.
He further noted that the US forces, withdrawing from Syria, would be deployed to elsewhere before returning to the US.
If Turkey, he warned, does not play by rules, the US would sanction it.
Turkey has started an offensive against the Kurdish forces in Syria since October 9, continuing to bombard the Kurdish-held areas despite a recently declared ceasefire between the sides.
