ERBIL — Kurdish prominent leader and the president of ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, received on Saturday Qatar’s Ambassador to Iraq Khalid Hamad al-Sleti.

According to the readout of the meeting, Barzani and the Qatari envoy primarily discuss the relations between Erbil and Doha, emphasizing the willingness on both the sides to further strengthen ties in different areas of potential cooperation.

Ambassador al-Sleti hailed the stability in Kurdistan Region with ongoing favorable developments in different areas.
