ERBIL — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani urged the relevant authorities in his cabinet to set a plan and create a proper balance between revenues and expenditures so to serve the best interests of the people.

PM Barzani made the remarks during a meeting with KRG’s revenue management committee on Monday to discuss government policies on banking, taxation, and revenue collection.

He noted during the meeting that there should also be a balance in allocating funds to different provinces and districts of Kurdistan Region.

“Our sole duty is to preserve the rights of the people of Kurdistan Region,” a press release quoted the prime minister.
