KRG's Council of Ministers to Discuss Census, Other Subjects on Wednesday
ERBIL - Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) Council of Ministers will convene on Wednesday to discuss the expected census across Iraq and certain other political subjects.

A source from the council revealed in a statement that the meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 am, during which, three main topics will be discussed.

Officials will shed light on the outcome of the meeting between Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the heads of the autonomous region's factions at the Iraqi Council of Representatives who met earlier on Sunday (September 8 in the capital Erbil for talks on ongoing discussions between the KRG and the federal government.

The council on Wednesday will further discuss the 2020 census which will be held across Iraq, a move that could affect the Kurds in the disputed areas.

Officials will also exchange views on several issues related to the KRG's Ministry of Finance.
