ERBIL — Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister-designate Masrour Barzani will hold a meeting with Kurdistan Democratic Party’s (KDP) negotiating team to set the plan for talks over the formation of the new cabinet.

According to the information obtained by BasNews, Barzani’s meeting with the KDP team will be held today (15th June).

Barzani was tasked to form the new cabinet last Tuesday. He has 30 days to conclude negotiations with other political parties and establish the new government.

A source said Barzani is expected to begin his talks with the KDP politburo, which holds the majority of the parliamentary seats.
