Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (cabinet.gov.krd) - In a statement to the Kurdistan Regional Government website, the KRG Spokesperson, Safeen Dizayee, condemned the terrorist attack occurred in the city of Pirsus in Turkey, where a number of civilians where martyred and injured.

Mr Dizayee expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished a quick recovery for the wounded.

He stated that this cowardly terrorist act demonstrates that terrorism recognises no borders, and can hit any place it wants. This, he said, reaffirms the importance and necessity of an anti-terror front to confront terrorism wherever it is.
